OUR DOG WALKS ARE FILLED WITH ADVENTURE, FUN, NEW EXPERIENCES AND SOCIALISATION.

Your dog will be collected from your home and transported to the walking location for exercise, exploration and games, before returning home fulfilled and happy.

We can walk dogs in small groups or alone if you prefer. Most of our dogs enjoy walking off-lead to explore their surroundings and to socialise, but we're also happy to walk your dog on-lead. All dogs are carefully introduced to each other to ensure compatibility of the group.

Dogs are towel-dried after a wet or mucky walk and paws are washed. On request, we can change the water in your dog’s bowl.

"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole."

Walkies in Worsley are here to help you show your dog how much you value them. As dog lovers and owners ourselves we understand how stressful it can be when you can't give your dog the attention you know they need. We'll work with you to make your dog's life as fun and comfortable as possible, ensuring they get the exercise and company they deserve.

Group Walks

Probably the best way to enhance your dog's social life is to enrol them in our group walking service. We'll walk your dog with two or three like-minded, friendly dogs from other households. They can play, sniff and generally enjoy each other's company under our careful supervision.

We'll make sure your dog gets to enjoy walks in a variety of different locations. One day we may take them to Worsley Woods and another day we might visit Blackleach Country Park. This ensures your dog can experience an exciting range of sights, sounds and smells to satisfy their need for stimulation.

Solo Walks

Our solo walks are a great way to exercise your dog's body and mind if your dog prefers one-to-one attention. Walks can be on-lead or off-lead and if your dog has a favourite activity such as frisbee or fetch we can play while we walk.

Of course a solo walk doesn't mean your dog has to be alone - if you have two or more dogs we can walk them all together in a solo household walk. Discounts are available for additional dogs.

Adventure Walks

Does your dog love bounding along the beach, paddling in the sea and feeling the sea breeze ruffling its fur? Then let us take your dog on a fabulous day trip to the seaside. Alternatively, if your dog loves spectacular views and fresh mountain air, then one our our mountain adventure walks could be just the ticket!

We love the great outdoors. If your dog feels the same then let us take them on a day to remember. We'll collect them on a Saturday or Sunday morning and return them happy and exhausted in the evening. You can even come too if you like!

Puppy, Cat and Small Animal Visits

You can request one of our 30 minute home visits for your pet. Puppy visits offer lots of play time and cuddles for your new family member. Playing and interacting with your puppy helps build their confidence around new people, helping their socialisation and getting them ready to take their first steps into the big wide world!

Of course, we don't just love dogs. We love all pets and will happily visit your home to take care of your cats, feed your fish, gerbils, guinea pigs, bearded dragons or stick insects. We can even water your houseplants while you're away.

Comfort Breaks

Some dogs can't go out for a walk. Other dogs don't want to go out for a walk. And sometimes you just can't be there to let your dog out to prevent those little accidents.

Our 30 minutes visits provide a break in the amount of time your dog would otherwise be left unattended. We can also give them the company they crave, helping to prevent or alleviate behavioural problems such as digging, chewing or barking that can happen when dogs are left alone.

We're here to take the stress out of leaving your dog by itself.

Dog Taxi

You may not have time to take your pet where they need to go, you may not drive and taxi drivers can be very reluctant to carry pets in their vehicles. If your pet has a vet visit or a grooming parlour appointment, you can book our specialist pet transport service.

We provide a pick-up and drop-off service for pets of all shapes and sizes. We'll transport your pet in our large secure cages to ensure their comfort and safety while they travel.

Socialisation

Your dog may be great around you, your kids and other people. But if they are nervous, scared or a bit aggressive with other dogs you'll be tempted to keep them away from their own kind. But it doesn't have to be this way. We can help them learn doggy social skills so that they don't have to miss out on this important part of what it means to be a dog.

We can gently introduce your dog to other confident, well behaved dogs who don't take your dog's fear or aggression personally. Allowing your dog to meet other non-reactive dogs in a carefully controlled way can give your dog the confidence and skills they need to enjoy the company of their own kind as much as they love being with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I give a specific time for my dog’s walk?

We walk dogs 3 to 4 times a day. Let us know the time best for you and we'll try to fit your dog into the most suitable time slot.

  • Can I change the days or times my dog is walked from week to week?

Of course. We know that circumstances change from week to week and we try to be as flexible as possible. Please let us know beforehand and we'll usually be able to meet your needs.

  • I'm not sure how my dog will be with other dogs. Can you help?

We always like to meet both our human and canine clients before starting any walks and are happy to visit you for a consultation and stroll. At this meeting, we can discuss your dog’s needs and temperament before agreeing a plan to ease your dog into walking with us.

  • What if I only need my dog walking for a few weeks or months?

Sometimes you just need a helping hand for a short while. Perhaps you're recovering from an operation or your usual dog walker is taking a few weeks off. Please get in touch and we'll do our best to help.
